iND
Stands for: Independent
Terminology | Dictionary | Explanation
iND applies to two kinds of independent groups. First there's uncategorized people on a site. In this case iND is just a term to categorize users who aren't member of a special group, such as SiteOps, releasegroups and nukers. Secondly, sometimes releases are done by, as what seems as a releasegroup, iND. For example: Badass.TV.Show.S03E01.720p.HDTV.x264-iND. In this case
iND is not a real group, it's a term used when individuals, who are not a member of releasegroups, release something. This are usually an one-time only release. A member of a games-releasegroup might release a mp3 album, which he got his hands on. Since he only does this once, and it's useless to credit a releasegroup, he uses the -iND term.
