New DVDr scene rules: THE.2007.DVDR.RELEASING.STANDARDS-SCENERULES
THE.2007.DVDR.RELEASING.STANDARDS-SCENERULES
After 2 years, there are finally some new DVDR scene rules. The most important changes are:
- If all else is stripped and still cant get a 3000k/s avg bitrate, then the menu may be reencoded at a minimum of 3000k/s avg.
- Warnings and dummies and antipiracy has to be removed.
- The number of passes required for a movie is to be determined by the final avg bitrate. Under 4,000k/s 6+ passes required, over 4,000k/s 5 passes are required.
- ALL releases are to include production year, except for current year and TV series.
- Proper can be done if previous release has warnings and dummies. PPF patch cant fix such things.
