Dupes often occure in the scene. There are various reasons, but usually dupes occur because releasegroups don`t seem to be very good at looking in the pre database sometimes, before they release something. They don`t check (well) if other releasegroups have released the same title before.
If you think that`s kinda lame, you`ve got to hear this. A couple of days ago, the TV releasegroup DEFiNiTE released: National.Geographic.Seconds.From.Disaster.Alpine.Tsunami.PDTV.XviD-DEFiNiTE.
